Company Overview:
KapKo, Inc. dba Denver Signs and Graphics is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper . 

We have a fast-paced, creative, and flexible work environment that empowers our employees to contribute and work independently with a solid team of experienced professionals. We work with a dynamic and interesting client base, mostly B2B, but also working under government contracts. We are a custom sign manufacturing company, and we do much of the production within our site in Centennial, CO.

This is where our Business Team comes in! 

Job Summary: 

Our Bookkeeper works closely with management and ownership to keep us focused on business results, KPIs, and tax filings with our accountant.

Responsibility Overview: 

• Prepare and maintain reports relating to production, cost analysis, and sales performance.


• Work closely with the owner to analyze financial statements.


• Help develop and prepare a budget(s).


• Let the owner know of any discrepancies or deviations in the accounting process, cash flow, and potential disruptions to business as usual.


• Keep accurate records of all financial transactions so that income, expense, surplus, and financial conditions can be determined.


• Prepare monthly and annual operating statements in a timely manner.


• Prepare tax and government reports as required.


• Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll activity.

Skills we are looking for:

• Degree in Accounting and/or 4 years of accounting experience.


• Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.


• Able to independently gather information and signatures in the company.


• Good organizational, time management, and communication skills. 

Skills desired, but not required:

• As a member of the business team, work and communicate with the management, sales, and production teams to meet profitability and customer satisfaction goals. 


• Maintain accounting standards so the company may grow and continue to provide excellent service to the customers and ensure job security for the staff. 


• Be able to learn our quoting and estimating processes and provide recommendations from time to time to make adjustments pricing.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
