Job Description

Administrative opportunity available in NYC for one of our clients, a large healthcare organization. This would be a long term temporary role , with potential for temp-to-direct hire, and will be located fully onsite, Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Communicate via telephone with members, attorneys, and carriers regarding various liens and workers’ compensation cases
• Data enter liens and Workers’ Compensation information in various databases and systems (QNXT, V3, Perfect Law)
• Generate letters to attorneys, workers’ compensation board , carriers and union members
• Create and update Excel spreadsheets concerning liens and workers’ compensation cases
• Process incoming correspondence from the workers’ compensation board, attorneys and members
• Provide clerical support to the department including but not limited to; filing, faxing, delivering, etc.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, some College or Degree preferred
• Minimum two (2) years clerical experience in a general office environment required
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience required
• Excellent data entry skills with a minimum 6,000 KPH and 6% or less error rate required
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Excellent clerical and filing skills; detail oriented and organized
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow up
• Problem solver with ability to work well independently and as a team player
• Able to work well under pressure, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments in a fast paced environment
• Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
