As Warehouse Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to be part of a world-class team managing logistics for an innovative Duty-Free retail leader. The role requires a self-motivated, high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong desire to achieve best-practice performance in workplace safety, warehouse, and equipment management. You will supervise warehouse operations in a Bonded, Facility Union environment, operating in a fast-paced, productivity-driven setting with strict adherence to US Customs rules and a focus on safety. The position involves weekend rotation and seasonal overtime, overseeing 15+ employees handling over 3000 shipments annually, utilizing advanced warehouse management software and RF technology.

What Youll Be Doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise a team of 15+ employees, measuring performance against set plans and productivity levels.
• Review reports to monitor productivity and address issues promptly.
• Oversee multiple departments involved in receiving, processing, put-away, picking, and shipping.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet daily objectives.
• Manage the picking, packing, and movement of merchandise.
• Maintain warehouse integrity concerning inbound, outbound, and inventory activities.
• Monitor inventory costs and SKU velocity.
• Manage cycle count programs and analyze shrink reports.
• Ensure compliance with customs bonded warehouse regulations and documentation.
• Respond to equipment maintenance needs promptly.
• Identify and resolve safety and operational issues.
• Coordinate employee training on safety and operational procedures.
• Ensure policy compliance and enforce union contracts.
• Attend and present at daily production meetings and prepare reports for management.
• Maintain safety, quality, and morale standards.
• Handle opening, closing, and securing of the facility.
• Provide employee development and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years supervisory experience in a bonded warehouse environment.
• Experience with WMS systems and RF technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English and preferably Spanish, with strong communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Expertise in WMS and RF hardware/software.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to handle employee grievances and enforce policies.
• Maintain safety standards and equipment.

Additional Information

This position offers flexibility with core hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, requiring 30 hours weekly for full-time status, with occasional evening and weekend work.

Physical demands include frequent sitting, walking, standing, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, and good communication skills.
