I am currently working with an AM LAW ranked legal practice in Chicago , who are actively looking to recruit an experienced attorney to join their growing trusts & estates group .

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with Partners across the firm's practice group on a broad range of sophisticated transactions.
• You will provide counsel to families and individuals regarding the administration and disposition of their estates through basic and sophisticated lifetime, estate and charitable planning.
• Handle probate administration, including opening/closing estates, preparing accountings and handling asset transfers.
• Prepare tax returns (including gift tax and estate tax returns).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Min of 7 years of estate planning experience.
• Strong academics.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Strong writing and case management skills.

The company is offering:

• Anticipated Base Pay range (dependent on experience): $220k-$300k per annum.
• Full time employees will be eligible to participate in the Firms benefits package. This includes 401(k) with discretionary profit-sharing, medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation and sick time off.
