Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist experienced with TEE, TTE, and Stress Echo procedures, requiring at least 1 year of inpatient experience and BLS plus ARDMS or CCI certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an inpatient and outpatient cardiac sonography setting
• Perform TEE, TTE, Stress ECHO, colorflow, and diafleur studies on patients of all ages
• Average daily caseload of 8–10 cases
• Use GE VE95 ultrasound equipment
• Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, with on-call required every fourth week
• Outpatient cases scheduled Monday through Friday; weekend cases are inpatient only
• Daily duties include performing both non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams using ultrasound equipment
• Responsible for preparing patients, administering imaging agents, and documenting critical findings in the EMR
• On-call coverage required every fourth week
• Pass/Fail EKG testing required on first day with two attempts allowed and study guides provided
• Must adhere to infection control protocols and confidentiality standards
• Scrub attire details not specified
• Second interview will be conducted by the manager

• Minimum of one year inpatient Echo Tech experience required
• BLS and ARDMS or CCI certification required
• Proficiency with TEE, TTE, Stress ECHO, colorflow, and diafleur required
• Advanced arrhythmia exam required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• License required if applicable
