About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager for a client-side role to support and oversee the safe commissioning of a data center project in Abilene. The ideal candidate will combine deep commissioning expertise with a strong focus on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) , ensuring all systems are tested, verified, safely transitioned into operational service. We are looking for someone to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the commissioning process for all data center systems on the client side, ensuring compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
• Integrate and enforce EHS best practices throughout commissioning activities, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies during commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure commissioning and safety standards are maintained.
• Review commissioning procedures, safety protocols, and test plans, providing expert recommendations for improvements.
• Document and report commissioning progress, safety observations, and any incidents to client project management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related commissioning concerns on the client side.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years in a commissioning or safety role with emphasis on commissioning.
• Proven experience in data center commissioning, preferably with large-scale or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices in construction and commissioning environments.
• Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, commissioning plans, and system specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional - CCP, NEBOSH, OSHA safety certifications) are highly desirable.
• Competent with MS365 applications/Gmail/Slack.
