The Transfer Pricing Manager is a key contributor to the Company’s Finance, Tax, operational and other initiatives by providing support and financial analysis on all transfer pricing matters in relation to compliance, audits, provision and planning. The Transfer Pricing manager collaborates closely with other members of the Tax Department and BD’s finance and operations partners. The Transfer Pricing Director reports to the Associate Director Transfer Pricing. The role is hybrid with 4 days in the office. Responsibilities include executing the Company’s transfer pricing matters around planning, provision, compliance, and audits; performing TP economic analyses to price intangible, tangible, and service transactions, including analysis of third-party arrangements under US and non-US transfer pricing rules; supporting various global tax audits with transfer pricing implications; providing TP controversy support, including audit support for the US and OUS; managing multiple simultaneous projects to timely completion; applying technical knowledge of transfer pricing regulations; managing annual timeline and various to dos independently; improving tax processes and controls, eliminating manual work and improving efficiencies including implementation of technology tools; providing well-thought-of and concise deliverables; working closely with stakeholders in tax, finance, business & operations, and external advisors. Essential functions include managing multiple projects timely and efficiently, being a self-starter, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong data analytics skills. Basic qualifications include preparing and analyzing financial and economic data for compliance using Microsoft Word, Excel, and statistical sampling packages; ability to self-direct and prioritize under tight deadlines; effective communication and analytical skills; ability to work well in a team. Additional desirable qualifications include strong excel and data analytics, minimum five years of recent experience with tax transfer pricing advisory projects, public accounting and/or corporate tax experience is a plus, and understanding of accounting (profit and loss statement). Education required is B.S./B.A./Masters in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, or equivalent. The role requires a minimum of 4 days in-office presence per week.
