About Runloop Runloop is pioneering the next generation of AI-driven software engineering. Our platform empowers developers to build, scale, and optimize AI-powered coding solutions, accelerating the future of software development. We're a team of former Google and Stripe engineers dedicated to solving the complex challenges of productionizing AI for software engineering at scale.

The Role As our first Developer Relations hire at Runloop, you'll be at the forefront of the AI revolution in software engineering. You'll champion our platform to developers building the future of AI-augmented coding tools, fostering a community of innovators who are reshaping how software is created.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Evangelism: Become an expert in Runloop's platform, including our Agent Orchestration, Dev Connections and AI Devbox features. Demonstrate how these tools solve unique challenges in AI software engineering.

  • Community Building: Cultivate relationships with startups and developers creating AI coding solutions. Organize events, workshops, and hackathons focused on AI in software engineering.

  • Content Creation: Develop technical content that showcases Runloop's capabilities in enabling AI-powered software engineering tools. Create tutorials, blog posts, and sample projects that demonstrate how to build and scale AI coding solutions using our platform.

  • Developer Experience: Collaborate with the product team and engineering teams to refine our developer experience, focusing on the unique needs of those building AI software engineering tools. Contribute to documentation, SDKs, and integration guides.

  • Feedback Loop: Gather insights from the AI software engineering community. Identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the space, and work with our team to evolve the Runloop platform accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in software engineering

  • Familiarity with the challenges of integrating AI into software development workflows.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI and software engineering concepts.

  • Experience creating technical content and presenting at developer events.

  • Passion for the potential of AI to transform software engineering.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with AI coding tools or large language models for code generation.

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

  • Contributions to open-source AI or developer tools.
