About the Role

Responsible for managing multiple product development lifecycles and prioritizing across broad initiatives with complex scope. Conducts analysis to measure the results of feature deployments, quantifying business benefits and identifying further opportunities. Identifies new opportunities and develops technology solutions that drive value for Gap Inc., including analyzing competitors, market trends, evaluating new technologies, and finding vendors that support the future vision. Builds trust and rapport with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and users; mentors and guides other passionate product managers. Manages multi-phase roadmaps across various capabilities, both functional and technical (including third-party software), clearly articulating product needs to different audiences. Anticipates user needs and desired outcomes, communicating impact across products. Ensures strong measurement and understanding of services, benefits, and customer pain points. Collaborates with business and product teams to develop or modify processes and supports post-launch change management. Telecommuting is permissible from any location within the US.

What You'll Do

  1. Manage a large group of internal and external business partners.
  2. Demonstrate technical acumen, influence, and debate solutions with technical teams; understand technology solutions and tradeoffs; communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Lead direct and/or indirect teams.
  4. Document requirements from stakeholders and translate them into the final product using Jira (creating epics, stories, spikes, etc.).
  5. Implement resource planning (ERP) software solutions, both custom-built and SaaS.
  6. Drive strategy by identifying high-value opportunities and working with business, engineers, and vendors to improve continuously.
  7. Plan and create business/end-user training to ensure understanding of new functionalities.

Who You Are

Bachelors degree or equivalent in any field, with five (5) years of progressive experience in retail or customer-related industries. In lieu of a degree, two (2) additional years of relevant experience are acceptable. A combination of education, experience, or training is also acceptable.
