Our company offers both full-time (W-2) and part-time (1099) employment options. These roles report to our Executive Medical Director. What Our Travel Podiatrists Do Provide clinical care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, independent living, and assisted living facilities. Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate foot and lower limb abnormalities and diseases. Manage high-risk patient groups, including the elderly and infirm. Utilize diabetic shoes and insoles to prevent wounds and immobility, and provide foot health education. Understand body mechanics to preserve, restore, and develop movement. Collaborate with the nursing facility healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in Medicare quality measure programs to ensure high-quality care. Perform other tasks and projects as needed. What It Takes to Join Our Family DPM Degree required; state licensure details to be discussed. Experience in LTC or nursing home settings preferred. BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support certification required upon hire. ACLS/BLS Tier 2 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Physical ability to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds. Why Choose PPG?
