Description:
We’re hiring a Journeyman Electrician with experience in commercial and industrial electrical work. You’ll handle everything from conduit runs and terminations to equipment installation and troubleshooting across various job sites. Work includes power distribution, lighting systems, motor controls, and switchgears.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems up to 600V in commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-lines, and job specifications.
• Layout and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC, flex) and cable trays per code and design.
• Pull, terminate, and label wire for power, lighting, and controls.
• Build and wire electrical panels, junction boxes, and switchgear.
• Safely operate equipment like scissor lifts, boom lifts, threaders, and benders
• Perform equipment start-up and assist with commissioning when required.
• Lead small crews or work independently based on project size and scope.
• Maintain a safe, clean worksite and complete daily documentation as required.
• Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and customers in a professional manner.
Qualifications
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (State of TX or reciprocal state)
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial field experience
• Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety practices
• Proficient with tools and materials used in commercial/industrial installs.
• Able to bend and install conduit accurately without excessive waste.
• Familiarity with generator and transfer switch installations a plus
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 75lbs
• Stand, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
