Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Skilled and Customer-Focused HVAC Service/Install Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, consistently delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Perform complete installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and accessory components. Service & Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, tune-ups, and filter changes. System Commissioning: Execute system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure optimal and proper operation after installation or repair. Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including work orders, service tickets, and customer documentation in a timely manner. Customer Interaction: Educate customers on system operation, preventative maintenance needs, and professional service recommendations. Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and team members. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, local codes, and company safety protocols. Logistics: Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean, organized, and fully operational condition. Availability: Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and promptly respond to after-hours service requests. Qualifications: Required - Active EPA Section 608 Certification (REQUIRED) . Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. HVAC Technical Training or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Strong ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks required for HVAC installation and service. Preferred - Previous professional experience as an HVAC technician or installer. Proven knowledge of advanced HVAC installation practices and complex troubleshooting techniques. Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality installation work.
