We are currently looking for an experienced Landscape Architect for our Marietta, GA office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Site Evaluations. Visit project sites to evaluate and document opportunities and constraints
  • Site Plans. Collaborate with team to develop conceptual plans that can be evaluated and advanced into final design
  • Construction Documents. Work with team to develop site construction plans, details and specs
  • Illustrations. Create professional graphics and illustrations necessary for conveying design intent to various audiences. Preparation/review of deliverables including reports, renderings, plans and specifications
  • Presentations. Assist team in development of presentations for the purpose of gaining stakeholder acceptance and regulatory approvals
  • Project Management. Work with Project Team Leader to manage project workflow and schedule
  • Develop residential and commercial landscape plans and schedules
  • Entrance and Amenity hardscape and landscape concept design and CD for residential communities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Between 3-5 years experience as a professional Landscape Architect.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Seeking or has obtained professional registration.
  • Experience with site planning and design for a variety of project types, sizes and complexities.
  • Working knowledge of municipal planning, zoning and site plan review and approval processes.
  • Ability to take projects from SD to CD while ensuring quality assurance reviews are incorporated at critical project milestones.
  • Excellent communication skills utilizing both hand drawn and computer-aided design/illustration techniques (e.g., Adobe Suites/Google Apps, Sketchup and AutoCAD)
