Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Midland, TX, and West Texas/New Mexico

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Midland, TX, or Permian Region. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with extensive industrial electrical experience in the oil and gas industry. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing electrical systems with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled electrical support for Automation, Instrumentation, and Controls across the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil/Gas Industries.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and install power and control systems ranging from 24V DC to 1000V AC.
• Perform terminations for 24V DC to 480V AC systems.
• Install and maintain power, control, grounding, and fiber optic cables.
• Install aboveground, underground, inter-duct, and flexible raceway systems as well as cable tray systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical publications.
• Operate man lift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) and mentorship to team members.
• Process necessary documentation including timekeeping, job safety analysis (JSA), material orders, and field tickets.
• Lead and oversee multiple employees when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Local candidates only (no per diem or relocation assistance provided).
• State Journeyman License or NCCER Journeyman Certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience, specifically in oil and gas environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  
• Willingness to travel as required.
