As a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology, you will:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments through history taking, record reviews, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for gastrointestinal conditions.
• Perform esophageal manometry, including documentation and preliminary reports.
• Assist in GI procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of one year of experience in Gastroenterology or Hepatology, specifically in outpatient settings.
• Experience working with patients who have gastrointestinal disorders or liver disease.
• A full and unrestricted license from any state to practice at the VA.
