Job Title: Finance Manager/Accounting Manager
Location: Modesto, CA (hybrid schedule)
Salary Range: $100k-$130k/year + bonus

Job Details

We’re seeking a skilled and dynamic finance leader to oversee accounting functions, uphold top-notch internal controls and accounting standards, and produce accurate financial statements. You'll manage the finance team, lead audit processes, and bring a keen eye for detail to financial decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee detailed journal entries and account analysis
• Review and modify general ledger structure for optimal reporting
• Invest idle funds while maintaining liquidity for daily expense
• Ensure financial records comply with company policies, GAAP, GASB, FMO, and USDA regulation
• Oversee accounts payable and annual audit processe
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for staff, Board of Directors, and Finance & Audit Committee
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including assessment billing and payment compliance
• Monitor fixed assets, including monthly transactions and annual inventor
• Develop and present the annual budget for administration expenses and fixed asset
• Manage domestic/international bank accounts and foreign exchange transaction
• Improve accounting data management and business control
• Manage compliance and record-keeping for grants
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and system change
• Improve system efficiencies and business practice
• Lead strategic financial projects and internal control policy development
• Manage engagements with external and compliance auditors

Requirements:

• BA/BS in accounting, finance, or business with 10 years of experience, including 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to commute to Modesto on a hybrid basis
