Job Description

Our client, the construction industry, is seeking a Construction Crane Operator to join their team. As a Construction Crane Operator, you will be part of the site operations supporting the construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to work, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Crane Operator

Location: Harrisburg, NC

Pay Range: $19-$20 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment to move construction materials and equipment around the site.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas efficiently and safely.
• Inspect and maintain equipment before and after use; report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all site safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Communicate clearly with ground crews, riggers, and supervisors to coordinate safe lifting operations.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift and/or crane operator certification required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts, cranes, or similar heavy equipment on a construction site.
• Strong understanding of load limits, rigging, and lifting procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
