Job Overview

Energy Concepts Corporation (ECC Solar) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, youll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including customer invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget tracking. This is an exciting opportunity to support our operations in the renewable energy industry, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting timely business decisions. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, family health insurance reimbursement, and performance-based bonuses. The pay for this position ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send invoices to customers based on contracts, time, and materials.
• Record and apply customer payments, ensuring timely deposits of checks.
• Enter and verify bills from vendors, ensuring accuracy and tracking due dates.
• Reconcile and balance accounts payable, ensuring accounts with vendors are current.
• Assist in managing and monitoring the companys operating budget.
• Collaborate with project managers and team leads for accurate billing and invoicing.
• Maintain well-organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Prior bookkeeping experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Understanding of A/R, A/P, and general accounting principles.
• Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and QuickBooks.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for errands (e.g., bank runs).
• Available for a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
