Job description Overview We are seeking a certified Boiler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high pressure boiler system operation and maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and effective operation of our heating systems, contributing to the overall functionality of our facility. Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on boilers and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
• Collaborate with field service teams to address customer service needs related to boiler operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Boiler operation certificate is required.
• Prior experience in utility maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, or a related area is advantageous.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in utility maintenance.
