Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records for a portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties.

• Prepare accurate journal entries and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.

• Oversee billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to tenants.

• Assist in the development and management of property budgets, forecasting financial performance.

• Utilize the Yardi system to manage property accounting and reporting tasks.

• Collaborate with the Controller to streamline financial operations and reporting.

• Monitor property expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Generate financial reports and statements for management review.

• Work closely with the property management team to address accounting-related needs and concerns.

• Support audits and provide documentation as required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in using the Yardi system for property management and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property management and mixed-use property operations.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of billing processes and journal entries.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
