A DAY IN THE LIFE
The town of Eustis, is located on the High Peaks Scenic Byway. The Kibby Wind Farm is located in the Chain of Ponds Public Reserved Lands, which includes 5 interconnected ponds, located between Indian Stream Mountain and Sisk Mountain. The scenery is beautiful with numerous outdoor recreation opportunities.
In this intermediate- level position, you'll use your skills and training to perform maintenance and/ or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision. You will be provided with defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, verbal/ written instructions, but you may provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
During a typical day, you may be working 250 feet above the ground, or working in small spaces to perform maintenance and repairs. You'll be outside, and sometimes the weather isn't great. You'll be climbing, carrying tools and equipment and moving parts to complete your work.

MORE ABOUT YOU
✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset
✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You will bring at least a year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 1-3 years of experience in transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work
