The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. In addition, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators; will support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs. Major responsibilities include daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving products, directing day-to-day warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control, managing warehouse equipment maintenance and safety programs, ensuring associates are trained and following standard operating procedures, handling employee inquiries and disciplinary processes, coordinating with other departments, completing activity reports, monitoring paperwork flow, resolving discrepancies, executing Storage Buy Audit COP, ensuring proper product staging and storage, overseeing inventory rotation, and performing other related duties as directed by management. Minimum eligibility requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution center, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and availability for extended hours during peak seasons. Working conditions involve exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles with moderate to noisy noise levels. Physical requirements include ability to exert varying levels of force to lift, carry, push, pull objects, and frequent use of hands and fingers, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
