JOB TITLE: Warehouse II (Forklift Driver)

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Warehouse associate to perform the following warehouse jobs; pick, pack, box making, heavy lifting, material handler, cross dock, and quality assurance and other various warehouse tasks.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Transports incoming and outgoing inventory to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or cherry picker
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to standard operating procedures
Load and unload trucks
Palletize completed orders
Pre-build and stage packaging materials
Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments.
Working knowledge with digital scanners
Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
Participates in quality improvement processes.
Adhering to daily schedules and deadlines
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Picks, packs, and handles materials for orders.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Flexible, and able to move within other warehouse positions.
Acute attention to detail.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Team Player with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB 1-2 years working knowledge and expertise in Forklift operation, maintenance, order processing, receiving, replenishing, and returns.
2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred
1-year customer service experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
High school diploma or GED
Solid understanding and knowledge of inventory practices
Familiar with WMS applications
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting
Repetitive movements
Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
Continually work near moving mechanical parts
Occasional loud noise
Occasional varying environmental temperature changes
