UX Researcher (777825)
Location: Morrisville, NC
Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Pay Range: $45.00–$62.50/hour
Type: Open-ended contract with potential for direct hire

A global leader in innovation is seeking a seasoned UX Researcher to join its Research & Insights team. This role influences the design of next-generation products across AR/VR, AI, IoT, and collaboration technologies for both commercial and consumer markets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support user research across hardware and software platforms

• Apply user-centered design principles to uncover insights and shape product strategy

• Conduct generative, evaluative, and validation research using interviews, usability studies, ethnography, and heuristic evaluations

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, developers, and product managers

• Communicate findings through storytelling and data visualization

• Plan and execute research aligned with product roadmaps

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s with 7+ years, Master’s with 5+, or PhD with 2+ years in UX Research, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, or related fields

• Proficiency in STATA, SPSS, or similar statistical tools

• Strong grasp of quantitative methods (regressions, ANOVA, T-tests)

• Experience with qualitative techniques (interviews, focus groups, diary studies)

• Portfolio showcasing research plans, reports, and insights

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Must be local to the Raleigh/Durham area and able to work onsite three days per week

Preferred:

• Expertise in quantitative research methodologies

• Experience with hardware usability testing and anthropometric data

• Familiarity with tools like UserZoom, Dovetail

• Global UX research experience

This contract role offers excellent hourly pay and access to benefits while engaged as an Adecco Associate. PTO and holiday pay are not included.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $62.50 per hour
