Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III – Floater at New Haven, CT! This is a 3 months contract role offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist III – Floater
Work Location (Base): 55 Lock Street, New Haven, CT 06511
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $19.85-21.75/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collections
Travel across multiple sites and step into various roles based on staffing needs
Lead or support site-level staff, act as mentor/trainer for new hires
Maintain safety and quality standards while ensuring timely specimen processing
Resolve escalated client/patient issues and provide superior service
Coordinate with Sales, Billing, IT, and Lab teams as needed for specialty clients
Support high-volume, high-complexity practices with consistent accuracy
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Phlebotomy Certification (required in CT)
Experience:
5+ years phlebotomy experience including:
Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
