Unit: Telemetry Float Pool
\tFloating: Required within telemetry skill set
\tCall-Off Policy (Float): Maximum 3 call-offs per contract
\tLocal Rule: 50-mile radius
\tLicense: Active New York RN License in hand (Required)
\tRequired Certifications:
\tBLS
\t\tACLS
\t\tFlu Vaccine: Required or approved exemption
\tMinimum Experience: 2 years RN experience
\tAt least 1 year of current telemetry experience
\tAbility to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
\tMust pass hospital-proctored rhythm exam :
\t>80% accuracy in rhythm identification
\t\t100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms
\t\tEpic charting experience required
\tTelemetry nursing skills required
\tCritical drip & CVA experience: Preferred
\tPatient Ratio: 1:4–5
