Evening shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.

\n\nJob Description\n

The psychiatric nurse will work collaboratively within a team to provide support and care to patients aged 5 to 17. The role involves participating in team nursing and meetings with physicians, and coordinating with social workers for discharge planning. Familiarity with Omnicell and EPIC is preferred, although IV certification is not required.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Collaborate with medical staff in nursing and care planning.
\n
• Assist in team meetings and ongoing assessments of patient care.
\n
• Engage with social workers regarding discharge processes.
\n
• Provide compassionate care and support to children and adolescents.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing.
\n
• Valid nursing license required, with verification through Nursys.
\n
• Completion of all health screenings and vaccinations, including COVID-19 Vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB test, Varicella, and Tdap.
\n
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
\n
