HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Pathologists' Assistant for a travel job in Saranac Lake, New York.
Title: Pathologist Assistant
Location: Saranac Lake, NY
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: Day shift – 5x8-Hour (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
No on-call
Job Responsibilities:
Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens
Assist in autopsies and preparation of tissue samples
Work collaboratively with pathologists in surgical pathology, histology, cytology, and general pathology
Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and handling of specimens
Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program
NYS license as a Pathologist Assistant (required)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pathologist Assistant
Required Experience In:
Surgical Pathology
Histology
Cytology
General Pathology
Autopsy Pathology
Additional Requirements:
Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
