🕒 Shift: 8 Hours | Monday–Friday | 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized wound assessment, treatment, and management in an inpatient hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on wound care experience and appropriate certification.
Key RequirementsLicensure & Certifications:
Active RN License (State of Texas or Compact License)
\tCurrent Wound Care Certification (required prior to start)
\tBLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
\tExperience:
Minimum 1 year of recent wound care experience within the last 3 years
\tExperience must be in an inpatient hospital setting
\tEligibility Criteria:
All RN candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
\tDriver's License must be included in the submission packet for verification
\tPerform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans
\tProvide advanced wound care treatments and interventions
\tMonitor wound healing progress and document clinical outcomes
\tCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
\tEducate patients and families on wound management and prevention
\tMaintain compliance with hospital policies and evidence-based practices
