ICU Registered Nurse

TCRHCC is a JCAHO-accredited facility serving a 4,400 sq. mile area across the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. This 73-bed hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency care, surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and more. Located on the scenic Colorado Plateau, Tuba City offers a culturally rich and diverse community, serving Native American tribes including the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute.

Position Overview:
This RN position is primarily based in the 5-bed ICU, providing critical care to patients of all ages. Nurses must be prepared to float to ED, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics as needed based on census. The role also includes after-hours post-op recovery for general surgery, OB, and pediatric patients.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years ICU experience required

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Active and unrestricted RN license (valid in any U.S. state or territory)

Certifications (Required or within 6 months of hire):

BLS – American Heart Association

ACLS – American Heart Association

PALS – American Heart Association

TCAR – Trauma Care After Resuscitation

NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
