Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of recent cardiac experience in a large hospital setting and current RDCS/ARDMS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work setting includes large hospital and outreach locations weekly
• Adult cardiac patient population with critically ill/injured cases
• Day shift with 8 hour shifts starting at either 6:45 AM or 7:45 AM depending on location
• Every 6th or 7th weekend rotation required
• No major holiday coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to one outreach location per week on average, including Stillwater or Westfields
• Responsibilities include working with critically ill adult cardiac patients and responding to medical emergencies
• Must recognize and report equipment problems and malfunctions
• Requires COVID-19 vaccination or an approved religious/medical exemption
• No major holiday shifts required

• Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years recent cardiac experience in a large hospital setting
• Current RDCS and ARDMS certifications required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias, conduction disturbances, sterile technique, and use of defibrillator/crash cart
• Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Proficiency in basic clerical functions
