Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tow Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating towing and roadside service calls, communicating with drivers and customers, and managing dispatching and invoicing through TowBook. This role is critical to ensuring timely service, accurate billing, and excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch tow truck operators efficiently using TowBook software.
• Receive incoming calls from customers, motor clubs, law enforcement, and insurance companies.
• Accurately collect and enter call details, service locations, vehicle information, and billing data.
• Monitor driver status and GPS tracking to ensure timely response and route efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with drivers regarding job details, updates, and changes.
• Create, update, and close service calls and invoices in TowBook.
• Handle payment processing, invoicing, and documentation as required.
• Maintain organized and accurate dispatch records.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
• Resolve service issues or escalations calmly and efficiently.
• Perform other delegated tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a tow truck dispatcher or in a similar dispatch role preferred.
• Experience with TowBook dispatching and invoicing software required or strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of towing operations, roadside assistance, and vehicle types.
• Familiarity with motor club dispatching procedures.
• Customer service.
