Apply for the Title and Insurance Specialist role at Enrichment Federal Credit Union Description Under the direction of the Consumer Loan Manager, the Title & Insurance Specialist protects the collateral and perfects the lien for the Credit Union's consumer loan assets. Job Summary Under the direction of the Consumer Loan Manager, the Title & Insurance Specialist protects the collateral and perfects the lien for the Credit Union's consumer loan assets. Essential Functions Communicates daily with loan processors, members, insurance companies, dealerships, and county clerks’ offices. Responds to staff questions as needed, providing information regarding loans, payoffs, and liens. Processes titles/UCCs received in the mail and works the Paid-Out report weekly to release titles/UCCs on loans that have been paid off. Receives and gives payoffs to members, dealerships, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. Adds CPI insurance and coordinates with CPI vendor. Sends all insurance verification documentation received from members to our third-party vendor. Works weekly reports from CPI vendor of missing insurance, as well as missing or wrong information. Monitors titles and processes delinquent title report to ensure titles are received before 60 days. Makes supervisor aware of potential problems with title work that could jeopardize our lien position. Reviews delinquent titles with supervisor on a weekly basis. Calls dealership or financial institutions weekly as needed to resolve delinquent titles. Completes monthly balancing of GL accounts for GAP and warranty and processes reports for month-end results. Processes payments to GAP and warranty companies. Completes Buyback report. Processes requests from insurance companies for letters of guarantee. Reviews weekly pledge tracking report to ensure collateral hold record was created. Contacts loan processor to correct those with no hold. Travels to local county clerk office a few times per week. Must have reliable transportation for county clerk visits. Mail consumer loan cashier checks by certified mail as needed. Processes a daily new loan report to complete temporary lien or UCC applications to the state, as well as boat taxes and TWRA registrations to TWRA. Maintain temp lien and UCC receipts to balance monthly credit card statement. Processes mail daily which includes dealership payoffs, insurance payoffs, completed UCC’s, temporary liens, titles, and insurance. Oversees the reordering of logo or letterhead paper supplies for all branches through TargetOne. Maintains the FedEx account. Reordering supplies and sending for consumer loans, business lending, and ERIS departments. Index loan documents to Synergy. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Job Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Ability to complete paperwork in a timely manner. Ability to comprehend, review data, and complete monthly reports. Ability to work independently for long periods of time. Skilled in technology in applicable computer programs and virtual/digital work. Ability to work in a paperless environment. Ability to work with confidence in multiple software applications. Has the ability to incorporate existing or available technologies to help automate certain processes. Skilled in organizing work, time management, problem solving, conflict resolution, and multi-tasking in a changing environment. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Mental & Physical Requirements Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day; Stress related to important decisions. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and occasional after hours as necessary.
