Our firm, a leader in the Accounting and Finance industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Tax Manager specializing in Real Estate and Oil/Gas sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a dynamic and growing team and play a significant role in the firm’s strategic tax planning and review process. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high net worth clients and provide expert tax advice in the areas of real estate, construction, oil, and gas.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
2. Managing and coordinating tax audits and tax returns with our public accounting team.
3. Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe.
4. Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
5. Providing innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax returns.
6. Identifying and mitigating tax risks.
7. Coordinating accounting staff and managing tax provision and tax compliance process.
8. Improving processes by developing or implementing best practices.
9. Managing and coordinating tax strategy.
10. Preparing all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.

Job Details

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA certification is a must.
3. Solid experience in the real estate, construction, oil, and gas sectors.
4. Proven work experience as a tax manager.
5. Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
6. Knowledge of tax software and MS Office.
7. Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
8. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
9. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
10. Analytical skills with detail orientation.
