Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-End Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Japanese cuisine, possess exceptional sushi-making skills, and have a proven track record in creating innovative, high-quality sushi dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and prepare high-quality sushi dishes, demonstrating precision and expertise in traditional Japanese techniques.
• Develop and innovate the sushi menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and unique flavors to elevate the dining experience.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Source and select the finest and freshest seafood, ensuring adherence to sustainability and quality standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Train, mentor, and lead junior sushi chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
• Interact with customers, providing guidance on sushi selections and accommodating special requests to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Culinary education with a specialization or additional training in Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques.
• Extensive experience as a sushi chef in high-end or Michelin-starred restaurants, showcasing creativity and expertise in sushi preparation.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, flavors, and culinary traditions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and quality during peak periods.
