Come learn from a successful team managing a successful $700M+ business! **About the Role:** This intern position will be part of the Windstream Wholesale GIS team who maintains and supports Windstream Wholesale's network. In this role you will be using Esri based applications to help solve geospatial problems, creating sales and marketing assets, and developing visualization that drives better decision-making. You will also be responsible for demonstrating, training and support of these applications for end-users. **What You'll Do:** + Produce and modify interactive Webmaps using Esri ArcGIS Portal. + Create static maps in a variety of formats using ArcGIS Pro. + Perform spatial analytics and reporting of GIS records for different use-cases and user groups. + Demonstrating, training, and support of GIS tools. + Assist in Windstream Wholesale's GIS data management as needed **Do You Have?** + GIS experience preferably using Esri products. + Experience in map creation and cartography principles. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to multi-task and handle several ongoing projects. + Basic telecommunications technical knowledge. + Ability to train and document processes for users. + Ability to use online training resources as needed to help develop new GIS skills. + Excellent problem-solving abilities. + Highly organized and strict attention to details. **Even Better:** + ArcGIS Enterprise experience + Web development or database experience + GISP or Esri Technical Certification foundational skills **Requirements:** + Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geographic Information Science (GIScience), Data Science, Computer Science + 3.2 cumulative GPA + Available to start Internship by Summer 25 **_________________________________________________________** **Our Benefits:** + Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Plans + 401K Plan + Health & Flexible Savings Account + Life and AD&D, Spousal Life, Child Life Insurance Plans + Educational Assistance Plan + Identity Theft, Legal, Auto & Home and Pet Insurance + Windstream is an equal opportunity employer.
