Department Name 7H102: Standardized Patient Program Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $19.50/hr.; $20 for travel Type of Position Temporary Position Time Status Part-Time Required Education High School Diploma Shift Shifts of varying lengths/schedules between 7:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday‑Friday (no weekends) Job Summary Standardized Patients are trained by faculty and staff to realistically portray different types of scenarios and/or professionals in the medical field. The SP must be proficient (with training) in the medical interview, as well as a focused physical exam. The SP may also represent difficult personality types and sensitive subject matter. The SP will be responsible for evaluating and assessing student performance and providing constructive written and/or verbal feedback.
