Responsibilities:

• As a Software Developer Intern, I will have the chance to learn about the contemporary tools and technologies we employ to create top-tier software. Each intern will be assigned to our developer training department where they will engage in a series of tasks aimed at familiarizing themselves with our processes, methodologies, and technology stack. I will maintain, enhance, and develop new software to meet business needs. This might involve front-end web development, back-end business logic modifications, or database-related tasks.
• After completing the training, I will be integrated into an agile team that aligns with my skills and our current demands, allowing me to apply my newly acquired training and abilities in a practical setting. As a member of this collaborative team, I will participate in developing real-world software, whether it is aimed at improving our operational efficiency, creating services offered to customers, or enhancing public websites visited by millions each month.

We primarily operate within the Microsoft ecosystem and use technologies from that framework to tackle business challenges. C# is our main programming language for any new projects, while we maintain several established systems written in VB. There are additional smaller areas where other programming languages and technologies, such as PHP, Swift, Objective-C, and Java, are utilized, although these are specific to certain projects and represent a smaller fraction of our work. Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, and Python can be beneficial.

I will also take on additional responsibilities as assigned. This internship offers a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour.
