Software Engineer – SPA SIM Developer
Basic Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field and 2–5 years of related experience, or Master’s Degree in a STEM-related field with up to 2 years of related experience
Proficiency with C++, GoLang, Cython, Bash, JavaScript, SQL, and MongoDB
Recent experience in model development
Experience developing code in a DevOps environment using Bitbucket or GitHub
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments
Ability to support an in-person/closed-area work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ada, MATLAB, and Rust
Experience with requirements development and collaboration
Exposure to stimulation and simulation software
Description:
As a Developer on the SPA SIM team, you will work in a collaborative environment focused on internal model framework development, tactical-to-model conversion, application development, and modernization efforts involving translation between coding languages. You will also contribute to documentation and support verification and validation of developed models prior to delivery.
