The Shipping & Receiving Operator will be working with a small group of operators to complete/pick products for customer orders. The position will be responsible for packing the finished goods, preparing the goods for shipping, and completing necessary documentation. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate warehouse equipment, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly motivated; detail oriented and has a high work ethic.

• Prepare and package products for shipment according to company and customer specifications.
• Create and print shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely deliveries.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and transactions in the system.

• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the appropriate department.
• Accurately log received goods into the inventory system.
• Distribute received items to the appropriate departments or storage locations.

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Assist with inventory management, including monthly cycle counts.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
• Handle local deliveries and pick-ups as needed, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service.
• Support light manufacturing processes, including hot stamping, waxing, slitting, and other production tasks as required.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.) and inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
