Location: Coon Rapids, MN

Wage: $22 - $27/hr

Shift Available:

• 2nd Shift: 2:15 pm – 12:45 am, Monday – Thursday

Twin City Staffing is now hiring sheet metal fabricators for a reputable union shop in Coon Rapids, MN. Duties of the sheet metal fabricator:

• Set up and operate press brake, turret, CNC laser, punch press, shear, or waterjet
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Perform machine setups
• Apply shop math for accurate production
• Work with GD&T (helpful but not required)
• Affix tooling, safety chains, light screens, limit switches, and other equipment

Requirements   of the sheet metal fabricator:

• 2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and machine operation
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and blueprint reading
• Ability to perform machine setups and shop math calculations
• Knowledge of GD&T is helpful
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
