Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Tax Accountant to be a key player in our firms growth. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in tax preparation, tax planning, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant team and build a long-term career with us. Youll work closely with clients to help them navigate their tax obligations and identify ways to maximize their financial success.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Tax Accountant , you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns .
• Conducting tax research to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Assisting clients with tax planning strategies , helping them optimize their tax position.
• Managing and mentoring junior tax staff to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• Reviewing financial statements for tax implications and assisting with the audit process .
• Working with clients on complex tax issues , providing guidance on tax-efficient strategies.
• Staying up-to-date on tax laws and advising clients on potential impacts.
• Overseeing the tax filing process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Maintaining and updating client tax files, ensuring all records are organized and compliant.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with a CPA firm.
• Strong experience in tax preparation and compliance , particularly for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Experience with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Thomson Reuters) is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to take initiative.
