About the Position:
Our client, a leading international law firm, has an active need for an experienced private equity lawyer (5-7 yrs of experience) to join its Corporate and Private Equity practice as a senior associate in Chicago. The attorneys in this practice focus on a variety of private equity transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, “going private” transactions and purchases of companies in or out of bankruptcy.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on acquisitions for private equity funds, ensuring deals align with the fund’s strategic goals
· Provide debt financing advice for private equity deals
· Perform due diligence to identify potential liabilities and risks
Required Qualifications:
· 5 – 7 years of experience with acquisitions for private equity funds
· Demonstrated ability to lead transactions
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $355,000 – $410,000.
