Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting functions for a growing property management and development company based in West Hollywood. This position reports directly to the Controller and offers the chance to be his right-hand as the team expands.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly accounting close process for multiple entities, including preparing and reviewing workpapers
• Oversee and review property financial information.
• Monthly comparison of income and expenses to budget with review of variance analysis and account reconciliations
• Analysis of financial data and support with ad hoc projects
• Monthly financial statement reporting to management, lenders, and investors
• Loan processing or lender reporting experience
• Coordinate and prepare work papers provided to the tax preparer and auditors
• Assist with automating and streamlining processes
• Workflow or revenue process implementation
• Experience compiling draw packages
• CAM reconciliation and management
• Assist with distributions
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Related Field preferred
• 5+ years' experience in real estate
• Private Equity/Public Accounting experience a plus
• Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
• Team leadership or supervisory experience
• Yardi administration and training experience
• Intermediate to advanced with MS Office.
