Job Description
Senior Account responsible for preparing financial reports of approximately 10 - 12 properties in various stages such as land investment, construction & development, retail properties, multi-family, and office. This person will review payables, receivables, billings, and cash receipts; perform bank/account reconciliations; provide financial information to auditors, tax consultants, lenders, property managers, and JV partners; assist in the preparation of budgets recoveries, 1099, and sales tax. Process annual property tax bills; coordinate tax return preparation and distribution of K-1 to partners. May be involved in preparation of construction draws and other special projects assigned by the Controller or CAO.
We are looking for someone with an accounting degree and commercial real estate background. CPA is preferred but not required. Financial reporting experience is a must. The top priority is to find someone with a great work ethic who works well with others.
We currently use Yardi; a strong knowledge of the real estate software is a plus.
