Our Client is seeking a Senior Development Accountant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in real estate development accounting.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and review budgets, project-level financial statements, and construction draw packages

• Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with project managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders on financial matters

• Assist with audits, reporting, and analysis to support executive decision-making

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of accounting experience with real estate development exposure

• Experience with construction draws, project-level reporting, and cost tracking

• Proficiency in Excel; Yardi or similar property accounting systems preferred

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects

• Effective communicator, able to work with internal teams and external partners

• Affordable housing or LIHTC experience a plus
