The RN in the Heart & Vascular ICU provides specialized nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient plans in a critical care environment. They supervise non-RN personnel, serve as charge nurse, and educate patients and staff while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires strong neuro patient care skills, airway management expertise, and proficiency with clinical equipment and electronic health records.
