Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) – Lead with Purpose in Pediatric Skilled Nursing

A Day in the Life
As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center, you’ll provide nursing leadership across one of our five specialized units serving medically fragile children and young adults. From coordinating care and mentoring staff to supporting families and managing shift operations, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care.
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure delivery of trauma-informed, family-centered care
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans across medical, therapy, and support teams
• Mentor and coach RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to build a resilient, high-performing care team
• Ensure proper documentation, medication administration, and compliance with state/federal regulations
• Lead quality assurance, infection control, and resident safety initiatives on your assigned unit
Skills and Qualifications
• Current RN license in Kentucky (unencumbered)
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term, pediatric, or complex medical care
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Vent, Trach, CPAP, and BPAP experience highly valued
• CPR/BLS Certification required
• Must pass all background, drug, and health screenings required by the state
