Job Description

**Pay: $15.00 per hour** **Location:** 1000 Industrial Dr. Henderson, TX 75653 **Status:** Full Time **Benefits Include:** _Health, dental, vision, life, and prescription drug insurance_ _Paid time off and paid holidays_ _Career growth_ _401(k) with company match_ _a chance to make a difference every day!_ **HOPE Transitional Treatment Center is a residential/outpatient chemical dependency treatment facility for justice-involved residents re-entering into the community. Located in Henderson, Texas** Performs duties directly related to the facility operations to ensure safe, sanitary and orderly conditions exist around the facility in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives. **Essential Functions:** Provides direct supervision of the resident population and reports immediately any suspicious activities or violations of policy procedures, rules and/or regulations by residents and/or other individuals. 1. Inspects and evaluates physical and sanitary condition of facility and resident living quarters on assigned shift and provides written documentation of such inspection. 2. Enforces safety, security and operational regulations and restrictions of facility operations and establishes procedure for granting personnel or visitors access to classified material or entry into restricted areas. 3. Performs accountability inspections and counts of the resident population to ensure all resident locations and physical presence on the facility. 4. Assists with the coordination of intake and discharge of residents during approved times and documents arrivals and departures at the facility in accordance with contract requirements. 5. Completes documentation including sign in/out logs, leave passes, and any other records required. 6. Keeps updated list of all resident assignments to include housing, community service and programs. 7. Leads instructional classes for residents as directed by management. 8. Conducts drug testing of residents in accordance with MTC and TDCJ policies and directives. 9. Supervises the self-administration of medicine by residents. 10. Regular and predictable attendance is required. 11. It is expected that the incumbent will work overtime when directed to do so. 12. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed; provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques. 13. Maintain accountability of staff, residents and property; adhere to safety practices. **Education and Experience Requirements:** Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED. Six (6) months experience at a residential or similar facility preferred. Preference given to individuals who possess work experience the operations of a residential facility. Computer skill and knowledge preferred. Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required. **Post Hire Requirements:** Within six (6) months of hire must successfully complete T4T (Training for Trainers) and annual training requirements. Must successfully pass an annual background check, both of which must be approved by TDCJ. Must pass drug screen. Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
