Start Time: Variable (0730-0900)
Unit: PACU
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3) 12-hour shifts and on-call rotation.

Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the PACU setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, PACU supplies and equipment and pharmacological agents.
